in the beginning you follow the switchbacks up 3/4 of the mountain. once you reach the rocky ridge it gets <br />
pretty steep with a lot of loose rock (this part is hard for most) luckily its not for very long. Keep heading <br />
north on the trail you will pass a large set of powerlines and if you look left you can see the route for <br />
decent. stay on the singletrack all the way out you will eventually get to the road. Head east on croy creek <br />
road back to the parking lot. This is a good after work trail and I find it the uphill much more difficult then <br />
the downhill but you can make up your own mind.
Starting in the heart of Hailey, ID. From main st (Highway 75) head west on bullion.. keep heading west until <br /><br />you cross the river.. there is a small parking lot on your right (the north west side of the bridge) park here. <br /><br />Head west on the trail taking the second right hand trail heading north, these are the "switchbacks" and you <br /><br />are on your way.
